It's 1937, and Russian actor Alexander Mushkin is ready to leave his children's show (a punishment by Stanislavski for drinking on the job) for a leading role at the Moscow Art Theatre. But when a letter arrives from the secret police demanding he testify on the theater's "subversive activities," he faces a choice--to protect his own life or defend the institution he loves?
Who Killed Comrade Rabbit? was produced in July of 2015 at the Blank Theatre in Hollywood, directed by three-time Emmy Award winner Barbara Bain (Mission: Impossible). The thrilling one-man show stars Ilia Volok (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and was written by Volok and playwright/novelist Willard Manus (Mott the Hoople).
"...the piece instantly soars to new levels and quickly establishes what a truly magnificent actor Volok is...under the skilled and passionate direction of the legendary Barbara Bain, this project has much to offer."
